Rain Rain come again today!
When i see the winds outside each time i wish f it rains. But the rain god is not blessing Chennai alone.
I remember the days at Kerala. During rains our house will become as an island. We had to swim through the water to reach the road.
Sometimes we even wear only the top part of the dress and reach the road and wear the bottom part of the dress :P
Ah.. those days were with full of joy.
During weekends, we just jump into water and act as if we are swimming. I actually did learn swimming in that dirty water.
How many times i had lost my anklets in that dirty water. I hope those anklets are still there under the sand there.
We used to see different snakes coming near us through the water. But they were harmless. I think they were also enjoying the rainwater. They used to come as a group and enjoy the rains.
Oh my god! how can i forget our cow. Sometimes her house too gets water inside. Dad takes her from her house and allow her live with us in our veranda.
She enjoys the stay with us with giving loads of cow dung. But she was so sweet, adjusts completely and stays in the veranda for two or more days till the water level goes down.
All these things stills happens at home. I miss Kerala and the rains.
